Lisa Williams
Owner of Athena Aesthetics and Beauty Academy
Hi my name is Lisa the proud owner of Athena Beauty Academy. I am a qualified advanced therapist, teacher, assessor and Internal Quality Assurer.
Having an Aesthetic and Beauty Academy has been a dream come true! I believe if you can visualise it you can achieve it!
I started my Beauty Therapy career working for Steiner on the largest cruise ship called a Carnival Destiny, this is where my vision began….
I have been in the beauty industry since I left school so a good 27 years. I have truly loved every minute of my career even the days that felt like they wouldn’t end when I worked 12 hour days in a local beauty salon. Looking back these were the days that inspired me to keep learning, keep growing and go into teaching!
Athena Academy specialises in VTCT qualifications as they are recognised worldwide and the standards are very high ensuring that all our learners are well equipped for the next step in the exciting Beauty Industry.

Nosheen Akhtar
Specialist In Advanced Aesthetic Treatments
Nosheen is a specialist in advanced aesthetic treatments, including Laser and IPL, with extensive experience across both the beauty industry and the education sector. As a highly qualified educator and quality assurance professional, she is dedicated to delivering high-quality training that seamlessly combines in-depth industry knowledge with practical, hands-on expertise.
Qualified up to Level 7, Nosheen brings a strong academic and professional foundation to her teaching, ensuring all courses are delivered to the highest standards of excellence, compliance, and professionalism. Her background in internal and external quality assurance further strengthens her ability to provide structured, credible, and industry-recognised training.
Kayleigh Stevens
IQA for Nail Technology and Make-up Courses
I have a vast experience of teaching and assesing beauty therapy and hairdressing courses. My passion is education and ensuring all therapists complete their qualifications to the highest standard and are prepared for this competitive industry.
I currently asses our level 3 Beauty therapy course and IQA for the nail technology and makeup course. I look forward to welcoming you onto one of the courses.
Jade Gabrielle
Admin
Jade has just completed her Law Degree and spends most of her days within the court system and the real estate sector. She is also trained in teeth whitening and training.
Jade will work with us at Athena on a part-time basis to use her skills to help us with enrolments, admin, invigilation and overall student satisfaction.
Jade is a great help to ensure that courses run smoothly whilst ensuring that students feel welcome, so look out for her within the Academy!
